MegaCap is a simple program that will allow you to capture, save and print your screen contents. This program can only capture the full screen of the desktop, it is not possible to capture just a part of the screen, or a given program window. The selected image can then be printed through any of your installed printers, or saved to your hard disk, only as a BMP file.
MegaCap was written in python, and works with any version of Windows. The program interface just shows three buttons: "Print", "Save" and "Recap". When you launch the program, it opens with a screenshot of your actual desktop. Pressing the "Recap" button will take another snapshot, but the original one will not be deleted. So, with each "Recapture", you obtain a weirder picture, with several overlays.
In brief, MegaCap is a nearly useless program. If you press the PrtScr key of your keyboard without using this program, you will obtain a snapshot of any window. You can then open the default Paint program, and save the image in any format, or print it as you want. All this, without installing anything.
